Airport "Yemelyanovo" has participated in the APEC 2015

Airport "Yemelyanovo" in the delegation of the Ministry of transport of Russia has participated in the meeting of the Working group on transport of the forum "Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation”, which has taken place in Jeju (Republic of Korea) from 26th to 29th of May.
The main purpose of the meeting was the development of transport and economic cooperation between the countries of the region, strengthening security and secure of transportation, as well as investment attraction to transport infrastructure.
The invitation to take part in the largest international economic forum of the Asia-Pacific region was received by the airport "Yemelyanovo" from the Ministry of transport of Russia. During the working meeting in Jeju the specialists of the Krasnoyarsk hub have presented to the delegations of other countries the activities and prospects of development of the airport "Yemelyanovo" as one of the main airports of Siberia and the Far East. Krasnoyarsk airport is interested in attracting the largest airlines of Japan, Korea and China for carrying out the transit landings at “Yemelyanovo”.
The presentation of the Krasnoyarsk delegation consisting of the head of the commercial Department Mikhail Didokha and the head of the development team of the airport Maxim Balashov was at the high level. The presentation telling about the region of Krasnoyarsk and particularly about the “air gate” of the region has been warmly welcomed by other participants of the meeting.
It should be noted that economies of 21 countries are the members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. The Association is established and functions since 1989 with the purpose of development of mutual economic cooperation between the countries – members of APEC.
Delegation from Russia at the meeting of the working group on transport in Jeju was headed by the assistant of the Minister of transport of the Russian Federation Yuriy Petrov.
