Yemelyanovo airport starts cooperation with a new airline from the Far East

Aurora airline commences regular flights via Yemelyanovo airport. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays there are flights to Khabarovsk on Airbus A-319. The flights depart from Krasnoyarsk at 23.55 local time arriving to Khabarovsk at 07.05.

November operational results

Yemelyanovo airport sums up its operational results for the last autumn month. Over 160,000 passengers used the airport services in November 2013, which is a 9% growth compared to the same period last year.

“Best in the occupation” contest among personnel of the airport security service

On December 3, a professional skills competition among the personnel of the Yemelyanovo airport security service was held. Inspection department personnel of four shifts competed to win the “Best in the occupation” title.

The regular flights programme of Tomsk Avia via Yemelyanovo airport to be launched

Tomsk Avia, a new partner of Yemelyanovo airport, commences a flight Tomsk-Krasnoyarsk-Kemerovo and back. The flights will be made on Cessna 208В having the capacity of 9 passengers. The flights will be made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The duration of the flight from Krasnoyarsk to Kemerovo and Tomsk is 1 hour and 45 minutes. The flights will be made within the winter timetable since December 6, 2013 till March 28, 2014 and the tickets are currently available.

Yemelyanovo airport participated in the deicing seminar

The ВС Airbus/ATR deicing seminar was held in Surgut being a part of the ICAO-MAC REP/01/901 international project “Flights safety and continuing airworthiness”. Aleksey Nikolaevich Perevalov, a lead engineer on aircraft line maintenance of Yemelyanovo airport represented Krasnoyarsk airport at the forum. He presented a report on deicing procedures implemented in Yemelyanovo airport.

Yemelyanovo airport welcomed honorary guests

The representatives of the delegation that participated in the activities of the International University Sports Federation arrived to Krasnoyarsk via Yemelyanovo airport. On October 9, in Brussels (Belgium) there was made the final presentation of the Krasnoyrask Region. After that, Krasnoyrask was elected by closed ballot of the FISU members to be the host of the 2019 Winter World University Games.

Yemelyanovo airport operational results for October

165,500 is the number of passengers that used Yemelyanovo airport services in October 2013, which is 103% compared to October 2012. The winter time table came into effect at the end of the month, with regular flights to southern destinations cancelled and the number of flights to western, far-eastern and northern destinations increased. About 3,000 passengers were carried to Irkutsk in this month. The figures grew by 7% due to increased number flights. Under the winter timetable, three airlines, namely IrAero, NordStar and Ural Airlines, make flights to this destination.

The first stage of modernization of a part of the airport “Yemelyanovo” cargo terminal was completed. Such modernization completed for the area of 300 m2 will improve the quality and speed of transfer cargo handling during hub operations.

On October 29, 2013, Yemelyanovo airport presented the new flight Krasnoyarsk-Omsk-Kazan. The first passengers were welcomed at the apron by Aleksandr Mordan, Deputy Transport Minister of the Krasnoyarsk Region, and Yemelyanovo airport representatives.

The 19th world air route development forum took place on October 5-8 in Las-Vegas, the . This forum is one of the key aviation events at the international scale. Its participants are representatives of airports, airlines, suppliers, investors, international and regional associations, national tourist associations. About 3,000 delegates from 120 countries took part in the forum.
