PAX turnover of Yemelyanovo increases 30% in 8M 2010
Key operational figures of Yemelyanovo are still on the rise. In eight months of the current year the airport served 848,448 passengers, a 30% year-on-year increase versus 654,861 passengers in 8M2010. Hence, the Number 1 million passengers in 2010 will be celebrated by the airport considerably earlier than in 2009.
New Carrier in KJA
The first regular freight flight of the Ilyushin-96-400Т aircraft of the Polyot airline Shanghai – Krasnoyarsk – Liege (Belgium) landed in the Yemelyanovo airport on 5 September.
Regional Ministers of Russia and Canada Meet in Yemelyanovo Airport
Yemelyanovo airport on 19 August hosted the meeting of Russian and Canadian regional ministers on the transpolar airline routes. The meeting was organized as part of the visit to Russia of the Manitoba province government delegation.
Yemelyanovo Celebrates the Russian Aviation Day
Yemelyanovo airport hosted the celebration of the Russian Aviation Day on 14 August. The annual festivities have become one of the favorite traditions both for Yemelyanovo airport employees and Krasnoyarsk city residents. On the eve of the holiday, the best employees of the airport were presented awards by the Russian Ministry of transportation, the head of the Krasnoyarsk inter-regional directorate for transportation of the Federal aviation transportation agency, the governor of Krasnoyarsk region, as well as by the CEO of Yemelyanovo airport.

Sports Festival on the Russian Aviation Day
On Sunday 8 August, Yemelyanovo international airport held the sports festival dedicated to the Russian Aviation Day. The employees of the airport and their family members were invited to take part in the event.. The sports complex “Vetluzhanka” was chosen as the the festival’s venue.
Yemelyanovo Airport and Air VOLGA Launch a New Flight
Since 30 July, Аir Volga (RusLine Airways CJSC) will be making regular flights on the route Krasnoyarsk – Yekaterinburg – Krasnoyarsk in the framework of the summer schedule. The flight will be performed twice a week on Mondays and Fridays by the comfortable airplane Bombardier CRJ 200 with the seating capacity of 50-passengers.

Yemelyanovo Airport picks Consultant for Master Planning
In spring 2010, the decision to draw the master plan of the Yemelyanovo airport development was made. After the overall detailed analysis of multiple companies working in the sector, the choice was made in favor of Hochtief Airport.
